Both an arthouse cinema and a club, Spartak goes from strength to strength. With its unusual selection policy, it can feature foreign films, a festival of Celtic music and a Goa Trance night on consecutive days.
The complex has no fixed clientele, but always has a good atmosphere and an interesting mix of punters. With an excellent bar/chillout area upstairs, it never gets too intense for comfort, though it can be a little bit too arty for its own good from time to time.
