Terminals 1 and 2 are connected by the Millennium Link walkway.
The airport is situated on the A45 Coventry road, close to junction 6 of the M42. There are direct connections from the M1, M5, M6 and M40. The new M6 toll road provides a fast alternative to the M6. The airport is signposted from the motorways.

Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National are represented in the Millennium Link.
Rail: The free Skyrail service links the airport directly to Birmingham International Train Station. A network of regional and intercity rail services depart from there, including a Virgin service to London Euston. Further information is available from National Rail (tel: (0)845 748 4950; website: www.nationalrail.co.uk). Road: Taxi: Black cabs (tel: (0)121 782 3744) carry up to five people with luggage. Coach: National Express (tel: (0)8705 808 080; website: www.nationalexpress.com) operates long-distance coach services, linking the airport to Birmingham and a number of other cities, and provides inter-airport Flightlink (tel: (0)8705 757 747) coaches linking the airport with London Luton, London Gatwick and London Stansted airports.
The airport information desk (tel: (0)870 733 5511) is situated in the Millennium Link; there is also an information point located in the Departures Lounge. British Airways operates a customer service desks (tel: (0)121 767 7502/3) in Terminal 2. The Visitor Centre in Terminal 1 provides a reservation and information service.
Money and communications: Bureaux de change and ATMs are available in both terminals. Postal facilities are available in Terminal 1. Eating and drinking: There is an extensive range of cafés, restaurants, bars and fast-food outlets both airside and landside. Shopping: There are several retail shops at the airport. Luggage: A left-luggage facility (tel: (0)121 767 7987) is available on the first floor in Terminal 1. Other facilities: There are 24-hour medical centres in both terminals and a prayer room.
Business booths are available in the Terminal 1 Departures lounge; free work stations are provided, with credit-card operated telephone, e-mail, modem and fax facilities. Air Space (tel: (0)121 767 8063) provides meeting rooms accommodating between two and 40 people. Overhead projectors and flipcharts are available.
Adapted toilets and lifts are provided. Wheelchairs are available on request. Help with baggage and check-in is available by contacting the airport information desk (tel: (0) 870 733 5511) prior to arrival. Wheelchair and other assistance after check-in must be arranged through the individual airlines. A Minicom system (tel: (0)121 767 8084) is installed at the Terminal 1 airport information desk, and there is an induction loop system.
The Crowne Plaza NEC (tel: (0)121 781 4000), Hilton Birmingham Metropole (tel: (0)121 780 4242), Holiday Inn Express NEC (tel: (0)121 782 3222) and Novotel Birmingham International Airport (tel: (0)121 782 4111) are all located near the airport. A free shuttle bus service transfers passengers between the domestic and international terminals (Pulkovo 1 and 2 respectively) (journey time: 15 minutes).
From St Petersburg, drive south on Moskovsky Prospekt. When Moskovsky Prospekt becomes Pulkovskoe Shosse, take the first right for Pulkovo 2 or the second right for Pulkovo 1.
Parking facilities are available close to both terminals. The multi-storey car park at Pulkovo 2 is connected to the terminal via a heated walkway.
Hertz car hire agency serves both Pulkovo 1 and 2, with desks in Arrivals. However, travellers should be aware that driving in and around St Petersburg is probably not a good idea due to the condition of the roads and the erratic nature of the signage.
Road: Bus: Bus no.13 leaves for St Petersburg from the front of the central office building at Pulkovo 2. There are two stops. Buses leaving from the stop nearest Arrivals will take passengers to the Moskovskaya Metro Station. Bus no.39 departs from in front of the Pulkovo 1 west entrance/exit and runs to Moskovskaya Metro Station, stopping at Kievskoe Shosse en route. Travellers can also take a shuttle minibus marked ‘T-39’ that goes from Pulkovo 1, via Pulkovo 2, to Moskovskaya Metro Station and then to the centre of St Petersburg. Taxi: Taxis are available. Marshrutnoye taksis are minibus taxis that are only marginally more expensive than local buses; these depart for St Petersburg from outside both terminals and run to Moskovskaya Metro Station.
There is an information centre in Pulkovo 2, near the entrance, and on the second floor of Pulkovo 1. International flight information (tel: (0)812 104 3444) and domestic flight information (tel: (0)812 104 3822) is available.
Money and communications: Bureaux de change and a post office are available in both terminals. There is a post office on the first floor of Pulkovo 2 Departures, which also offers fax, photocopying, IDD telephones and Internet facilities. Eating and drinking: There are restaurants, cafés and bars situated throughout both terminals. Shopping: Shopping includes duty-free. A newsagents and convenience store are located on the first floor of the Pulkovo 2 Departures. Luggage: A lost property office is situated on the first floor of Pulkovo 2. Other facilities: There are first aid posts in both terminals and a mother and child’s room is available. There is a pharmacy and a hairdresser’s in Pulkovo 1.
The airport has business lounges that can provide telephone and fax facilities. There are two lounges and a VIP suite in Pulkovo 2 (tel: (0)812 104 3434) and a business lounge in Pulkovo 1 (tel: (0)812 123 8545). The post office in Pulkovo 2 offers business services including Internet, fax, photocopying and IDD telephones. The nearby Pulkovskaya Hotel (tel: (0)812 140 3979) has business and conference facilities, including a conference hall for up to 500 delegates, a meeting room for 35 delegates, and a business centre; a translation service is available for conferences.
The airport is physically accessible. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.

The Hotel Astoria (tel: (0)812 313 5757) and the Angleterre Hotel (tel: (0)812 313 5666) are both about 13km (8 miles) from the airport.
