Description

Venue: Absolut Icebar Tokyo    When: Daily

Following Stockholm's original and cool off-shoots in both London and Milan, Tokyo has become the first city outside Europe to boast its own Absolut Icebar. Kept at a constant -5° throughout the year, visitors are allowed in for 45-minute slots, with a cape and gloves provided along with an individual ice glass and the first vokda cocktail (or non-alcoholic option).

Additional drinks cost again - ¥1200 for an extra cocktail, ¥1000 for non-alcohol - while another ice glass that will set you back ¥800.

Even in the height of summer the Absolut Icebar is kept at -5°C, with everything inside - bar stools, bar, cocktail glasses and tables - made of Swedish ice.

Twice a year, artists sculpt the ice into new artworks, so it's not just the vodka you can go for!
