The Madhavan Nayar Foundation consists of three buildings housing a Museum of Keralan History, a Gallery of Painting and Sculpture, a Centre for Visual Arts and a Doll Museum.
Madhavan Nayar (1914-1996) was a prominent industrialist, philanthropist and a pioneer of India's seafood export industry. A lover of the arts, he converted all his material, mental and intellectual resources into the making of this Foundation.
