Failaka Guesthouse

Failaka is a traditional Goan guest house in the village of Benaulim. The Failaka is run by Hamilton and his family and although it has not changed in years, the fact that they take great pride in their property is very much in evidence and it is spotlessly clean. There are just 16 rooms in total served by a small bar and restaurant.

The transfer time from Dabolim Airport is approx 45 minutes. The village itself is small and has a restaurant and several shops, but the local buses pass through so for the adventurous it's easy to explore the delights of South Goa, with Margao being 6 km away and Colva just 2 km. Benaulim beach is under 2 km away, easily accessible by taxi for a cost of approximately £1.50 or for the more energetic, a good 20 minutes' walk.

This guesthouse offers simple, clean accommodation and is a great base from which to explore South Goa.

Your holiday price includes

Return flights from your chosen airport, airport transfers, in flight meals, use of our resort representative and 7 or 14 nights accommodation in a Twin room based on bed and breakfast.

Please note:It is no longer possible to post your application form direct to the Indian Embassy. You can still attend the embassy in person or use an approved courier service. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa for Goa. Failure to do so will result in you not being allowed to travel and a loss of all monies paid.

A visa is required for India this must be applied for prior to your departure. The information given here is applicable to British Citizens holding a full 10-year passport. All other nationals or British Citizens not holding a British passport should check the passport and Visa requirements directly with the Indian Embassy in London.

Prices are per person based on 2 adults sharing a room.

Child prices are only applicable when sharing with 2 full fare paying adults.

Ticketing information: You will be contacted by the tour operator after making your booking

• For any bookings made within 14 days of departure, there will be a Ticket on Departure charge of £15 per person levied by the tour operator.
• British passport holders are required to purchase a visa before their intended date of travel. The cost of this is £30.00 per person at time of writing.
• For all bookings made via Credit Card there is a 2% charge for this service, which will be added on by your Tour Operator.
• Your confirmation email is notification that the tour operator has received your booking and is processing it.
