A popular hotel set by the splendid Santa Maria beach. The hotel was originally the private home of a Belgian family and over the years has developed into an excellent resort hotel, which is now run by Sophie, the grand daughter of the founders. The famous Beach Club with its wooden deck leading almost to the water’s edge is a favourite at lunchtime. The range of excellent facilities and good service are testimony to the popularity of the hotel over many years. The hotel has been extensively refurbished during 2006 and 2007. The local 4 star rating is generally equivalent to an international 3 star rating, although the new Superior Rooms and the Junior Suites are more conducive to an international 4 star hotel. .

Room facilities

102 rooms and suites are air-conditioned with twin or double beds, shower, mini-fridge (not stocked), fan, safe, satellite TV and a terrace with a garden or ocean view. Please note rooms vary in shape, size and location.

Standard Rooms (DBB-TWB) are with garden view, and Standard Rooms (DBA-TWA) are with ocean view at a supplement.

All Superior Rooms and Suites are at a supplement.

Superior Rooms have all been recently refurbished and now offer splendid bathrooms with a power shower and double basins. Superior Rooms (DSB-TSB) are with a garden view, and Superior Rooms (DSA-TSA) are with an ocean view.

All Standard and Superior Rooms can accommodate up to 2 adults and a child.

There are 3 Duplex Suites (DPX) with an ocean view, which comprise 2 separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.

Junior Suites comprise a bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, and can accommodate up to 3 adults. JSB Suites are with garden view and JSA Suites are with ocean view.

There are 4 Family Suites (FAS) with garden view, 2 bedrooms and a living room, which accommodate up to 4 adults.

There are also 2 Master Suites (MAS) with an ocean view, which comprise a bedroom and a living room and can accommodate up to 3 adults. Most Suites have a full bath with overhead shower. .
