The State Rooms - summer opening
The State Rooms form the heart of the working palace and are lavishly furnished with some of the finest treasures from the Royal Collection - paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin, Canaletto; sculpture by Canova; exquisite examples of Sèvres porcelain, and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.

The Palace's 42-acre garden is an oasis for wildlife, and you can enjoy a garden walk that offers superb views of the Garden Front of the Palace and the 19th-century lake.

Please note:

• For safety reasons, visitors and their belongings may be subject to security checks. Baggage and items such as umbrellas, pushchairs and electrical equipment may have to be checked in and reclaimed at the end of the visit
• Mobile phones must be switched off during your visit
• As Buckingham Palace is an historic building, the floors may be uneven and visitors should take care when walking about

• Please print off the voucher at the top of your confirmation email to gain access to the exhibition
