PortAventura theme park tickets

PortAventura is a theme park resort found just outside Salou on Spain’s beautiful Costa Daurada. PortAventura is so much more than just a theme park, the extensive grounds make room for the four themed onsite hotels, three world class golf courses, PortAventura Park, PortAventura Aquatic Park and a private Beach Club.

Salou is a mere 10 to 15 minutes journey away depending on your means of travel and offers a lively resort all year round, with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Travel North by train from PortAventura’s own railway station and you are welcomed by the enchanting city of Barcelona.

The park consists of five distinct and diverse World regions to explore, Mediterrania, Far West, Mexico, China and Polynesia. The themes extend beyond the main Park to add new dimensions to the Caribbean themed Aquatic Park and the four onsite hotels. Strongly associated iconography and cultural characteristics make the themes come alive so visitors frequently have to remind themselves they are in Spain!

You will never encounter a dull moment when staying at PortAventura. The hotels are fully themed around the same distinct regions of the World as the Park itself. Hotel Villa Mediterránea, formally know as Hotel PortAventura sits side by side with the Mediterranean area of the Park and consciously shares its sun-kissed picturesque architecture. Hotel El Paso is Mexican themed and Hotel Caribe issues the chilled, relaxed vibe of the Caribbean. The newest addition is Hotel Gold River, modelled on a 1800s gold miners’ town, it includes a City Hall, Sheriff’s Office and Miner’s Bungalows to name a few. All the onsite hotels offer exclusive benefits which include Park entrance, kids clubs, and free or discounted Beach Club and Aquatic Park access.

When you want to get off your feet, relax and soak up some sun there is no better place to go than the Beach Club. Located about a 20 minute shuttle ride from the onsite hotels it is sublimely peaceful. The club complex is exclusive for PortAventura hotel guests, but head slightly further down to the sea to Salou’s Playa Larga and mix with beach goers from all walks of life enjoying the best Spain has to offer.

Ticket prices & availability

Ticket Conditions

• 1st and 2nd child free when purchasing 2 adult tickets
  Not valid if only one adult ticket is bought
  If the customer wants to buy additional junior tickets the tickets must be bought via a separate transaction with a separate voucher.
• Children under four go free
• Junior: Aged 4 to 10 years
• Adult: Aged 11 to 59 years
• Senior: Aged 60 years and above
• The 14 day ticket is not solely for consecutive use and can be used for up to 14 accesses throughout the whole 2009 season
• Returns & Refunds: PortAventura will only replace or cancel tickets for those that have been stolen and unused. In order to do this, PortAventura will need to receive a copy of the relevant crime report with a valid crime reference number. PortAventura is not responsible for lost or damaged tickets

Ticket delivery

• Printed confirmation of booking directly from the website.
  This will then be exchanged at the park gates for an entrance pass.
  If you fail to bring these, your entry will be denied

• Door opens and event starts at 10.00 and closing depends on the day
• General admission tickets
• No age restrictions
• No dress code

• Located on the sunny Costa Dorada, 10 minutes from Salou and 1 hour south of Barcelona
• By train: PortAventura has its own train station with connection to the main stations in the area including Barcelona Sants
• By air: Reus airport is the closest to PortAventura, just 10 minutes away in a taxi. Reus has daily flights from the UK and Ireland served by a number of charter airlines. Barcelona airport is an hour away. There is direct transport to PortAventura operated by the bus company ALSA
