Mountain Biking Day For Two in the Lancashire Countryside

From easy tracks, to more adventurous mountain biking on exciting technical trails - it's all here in the beautiful unspoilt countryside and dramatic open moorland of the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire.

With a comprehensive hire package, including quality Trek front suspension mountain bikes, puncture resistant tyres, bar bag, lock, route sheets for all abilities, map holder, bottle cage and free water bottle, all you'll have to do is choose which trails you'd like to ride.

You'll be riding in Gisburn Forest, home to some great waymarked mountain bike trails from easy fire road to red-graded technical single track.

Trails are available for all abilities, with riding also available on quiet country lanes outside of Gisburn Forest.

• You will need to bring along a copy of your confirmation email as proof of purchase along with the credit card with which you booked

Event information

• You will be met by a member of staff from Cycle Adventure at Cocklet Hill Car Park in Gisburn Forest with all your cycling equipment, route sheets and information. Our staff will be parked in a vehicle clearly displaying the Cycle Adventure logo
  You will be allocated with your cycles and accessores, have the correct sizing adustments made, and be given a short bike safety briefing along with route advice for your chosen ride
  A member of Cycle Adventure staff will be contactable throughout your ride and able to offer assistance if required
  Once you have finished your ride a member of Cycle Adventure staff will be waiting for you to collect you cycles and equipment at the same location you started your ride
• Event starts at 10.30 and ends by 17.00
• Suitable for aged seven above. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of 18 years or older - tag-a-longs, and young person mountain bikes are used for children under 10 years of age.
• Supplier will be in contact once the booking has been made to find out what your size requirements are for cycle hire

What to bring

• Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for cycling
• You will need to bring your own lunch for a picnic, or you can stop at a café ½ mile from the trails
• Water, snacks and water proofs are also recommended
