Terms and Conditions:
1. By making a competition entry here, the reader will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and to be bound by them.2. The Tourism Flanders – Brussels prize draws are open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, except employees of Tourism Flanders - Brussels, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
3. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. All travel must originate in UK.
5. Tourism Flanders-Brussels and Eurostar will not be liable for passengers failing to make the departure times indicated on their tickets.
6. Passengers must ensure they comply in full with all relevant customs and immigration requirements, including the appropriate passport and visa requirements. Passengers are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance.
7. Entries must be submitted via the published online entry form. Entry to each prize draw is restricted to one per person. Late, illegible, incomplete or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The winner will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by the closing date. An up to date list of winners’ names and counties is obtainable for up to one month after the closing date of the final prize draw by sending a sae to Flanders House, 1a Cavendisch Square, London W1G 0LD.
8. All entries must be received by the published closing date of December 15 2008. The winners will receive a trip for 2 people which includes travel on Eurostar, two nights’ accommodation in the Residence Hotel in Antwerp and a voucher worth €250 from Diamondland. Under no circumstances can this voucher or part of this voucher be exchanged against cash money. If the amount of the purchases exceeds the value of the voucher, the client will pay the difference according to the normal payment modalities. In case of loss this cheque will not be replaced. The voucher is only valid in Diamondland and can’t be combined with other promotional actions of Diamondland.
9. The winners will be notified within seven days of the closing date of the prize draw.
10. The prizes as described are available on the date of publication. All prizes are subject to availability, non transferable, non-exchangeable and there are no cash alternatives. In the event of cancellation by winners, for whatever reason, no alternative need be given. Once bookings are confirmed reservations may not be changed. All other expenses associated with taking the trip shall be the responsibility of the winner.
11. The winners may be required to participate in publicity.
12. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
