Day 2 & 3 Toronto

Enjoy these two days in and around Toronto. The best way to get a first impression of the city is from atop one of the tallest buildings in the world – the CN Tower. Back at ground level, hop on a guided coach tour or explore the city by foot and public transport, taking in major attractions such as the Royal Ontario Museum, the Roger’s Centre – home to Toronto’s baseball team the Blue Jays, and Casa Loma. See the city’s gleaming skyline from a harbour cruise or ferry with an optional stop on Centre Island, a car-free oasis ideal for a leisurely stroll or relaxing picnic. Back on the mainland, dedicate some time to visit the 300 store Eaton Centre and then go wild in Toronto’s unique districts, including trendy Queen Street West, retro Kensington Market, tempting St Lawrence Market and historic Distillery District. Also well worth a visit is the ultra chic Bloor-Yorkville, home to designer shops and stylish restaurants. In the evening, head to the Entertainment District to catch a world-class theatre production, have a romantic dinner in a happening restaurant and then hit the dance floor in one of the many hip nightclubs.

Day 4 Toronto to Niagara Falls

Pick up your hire car in downtown Toronto and head south for the 1.5 hr drive to Niagara Falls, passing through charming small towns and lush vineyards. In Niagara Falls, you will stay at a charming 3* Inn, only a few minutes walk from the thundering Falls. To experience this roaring wonder close-up, hop aboard the Maid of the Mist boat tour, or take the Journey Behind The Falls. For truly spectacular panoramas of the area take a helicopter ride over the Falls or go over them during a film at the IMAX theatre. If that is not enough excitement, go on a Jet Boat Tour down the whirling rapids of the Niagara River. Back on stable ground, explore the many shops and attractions in town, such as the beautiful botanical gardens, the wacky Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum or Bird Kingdom at the Niagara Falls Aviary. Dinner? The Minolta Tower and Skylon Tower both satisfy cravings in their restaurants overlooking the Falls, which look just as spectacular at night when being illuminated.
