• Arrive in the morning and meet the skipper
• After meeting the skipper you step on board the fishing boat
• You have a quick safety briefing from the skipper then depart the marina
• After approximately 60 minutes travelling out in the Bristol Channel you drop anchor and start fishing
• You are then given your rod, reel and bait for the day
• The skipper will give a demonstration on how to bait up and cast and will be available for help all day
• Snacks will be available around midday and tea and coffee will be served throughout the day
• Photos will be taken of all the catches and posted on our website and emailed to participant
• Whatever fish you catch can be taken home with you
• Each person will also enter our quarterly competition and be eligible to win some top prizes. Rules of the competition are on board and a league table will be posted on our website
• After approximately six hours fishing you then head back to shore for about 17.00

• This is a single gift experience voucher for one person
• Location: Penarth Marina, Near Cardiff
• This experience is available on selected dates through out the year
• Please allow approximately eight hours for the whole experience
• Please be aware that facilities on board the boat are basic
• You will receive a full information pack and an open-dated gift voucher valid for nine months from the supplier by post. You must book and take your experience before the voucher expiry date
• The supplier’s contact details will be included in your order confirmation e-mail
• To book a date for the experience, simply follow the booking instructions detailed in the information pack or on the gift voucher
• It is recommended that you book a date at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. All bookings are subject to availability

• Please bring your voucher on the day of your experience
• You will be provided with rod, reel and bait
• Only valid voucher holders will be allowed
• There is no disabled access for this experience
• The experience is weather dependent and the dates may need to be rearranged due to unsuitable weather conditions. If you are not able to complete your experience due to bad weather, an alternative date will be offered to you
• There will be tea and coffee served throughout the day
• Please wear casual comfortable clothing,suitable for the time of the year and weather conditions, with sensible soft, non-slip soled shoes, such as trainers or deck shoes. It can be cool on the water so bring a fleece or jacket, even in summer. However do not forget your sunglasses and high-factor sun cream
• Public Liability Insurance is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance of up to £50,000 and Cancellation Insurance of up to £500, for the voucher holder. Details will be enclosed within your gift pack

• Minimum age is 16 years
• If you suffer from sea sickness then please take the necessary medication
