After the welcome you will receive a full health and safety briefing. You will then be kitted-up ready to move onto the ice where you will receive tuition from a fully qualified instructor and spend approximately 40 minutes on the ice.

Please note that this is an introduction programme for those who have not tried ice climbing before.

Experience details

• This is a single gift experience voucher for one person
• Location: London or Manchester
• The experience takes place at selected times from Tuesday to Sunday
• Please allow approximately one hour for the whole experience
• You will receive a full information pack and an open-dated gift voucher valid for nine months from the supplier by post. You must book and take your experience before the voucher expiry date
• The supplier's contact details will be included in your order confirmation e-mail
• To book a date for the experience, simply follow the booking instructions detailed in the information pack or on the gift voucher
• It is recommended that you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise that you book as early as possible. All bookings are subject to availability

Essential information

• You need to take your voucher with you on the day of your experience
• Please wear loose fitting warm layer clothing. All technical clothing will be provided by the supplier
• Refreshments are not included
• Spectators are welcome. There are dedicated viewing areas for convenience
• The weather will not affect this experience as it takes place indoors
• Public Liability Insurance is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance of up to £50,000 and Cancellation Insurance of up to £500, for the voucher holder. Details will be enclosed within your gift pack

Restrictions

• Minimum age is 16 years (under 18s will need written parental consent)
• Participants should be physically fit. If in doubt, consult your doctor in advance
