Our standards in relation to package holidays

Package holidays and ABTA
This is a consumer protection bond, which covers tour operators or travel agents. In the unlikely event of company failure the consumer will be protected. lastminute.com does not hold an ABTA licence but the vast majority of package holidays sold on lastminute.com are operated under the ABTA number of our tour operating suppliers and lastminute.com is acting as a disclosed agent on their behalf. We will feature the ABTA number of the supplier in the more info section of each holiday offering.

Package holidays and ATOL

This is a consumer protection licence, which covers flights only or packages involving a flight. In the unlikely event of company failure, or airline failure the consumer will be protected either by being reprotected onto another airline or receiving their money back. lastminute.com holds ATOL number 5301 but the vast majority of package holidays sold on lastminute.com are operated under the ATOL number of our tour operating suppliers and lastminute.com is acting as a disclosed agent on their behalf. We will feature the ATOL number of the supplier in the more info section of each holiday offering.

Flights and IATA
International Air Transport Association - 91260013
This licence is owned and held by lastminute.com. This is a worldwide organisation that most scheduled airlines belong to. They all adhere to certain rules and regulations that allow airlines to operate on a worldwide basis to seek solutions and co-ordinate their working methods and practices. An agency is accredited with an IATA license once it has fulfilled certain conditions in areas such as assessment of financial security and certain standards in staff training as well as ensuring all premises are safe.

This licence is owned and held by lastminute.com. This is a consumer protection licence, which covers flights only or a package involving a flight. In the unlikely event of company failure or airline failure, the consumer will be protected either by being reprotected onto another airline or moneyback.
