"a great choice!"

I really enjoyed staying at Think Bermondsey Street. I stayed in the 5th floor, the rooms don't face the street, so it's really quiet. The charming street itself is not noisy anyway. The room was splendid. really well equipped! Roomy and trendy, comfortable, with dish washer, washing machine, oven, microwave, cooker, iron and ironing table.., much more than I was expecting, actually! Oh, and the wireless internet has an amazing speed, very good. Feels like home!!! I do recommend this place.

"Reasonably priced Aparthotel"

Despite there being a number of minor issues with our 4th floor, 2 bed American apartment, all in all it was great for the money. As mentioned below, the room was very warm and as we were at the front of the hotel, we couldn't leave the windows open at night. The lights took a bit of working out, with one switch over the bed not working at all, but eventually, mainly, they all worked. The auto lights in the bathroom were a pain in the shower & you had to keep the door shut at night because otherwise they came on every time you moved in bed! The shower was hot, powerful and beautifully tiled, but you had to keep the head right at the top of the pole, which was really too high for me and my son because if you moved it down it slid to the bottom and wouldn't stay. The kitchen unit doors also got on my nerves! They were spring loaded and some popped open when you brushed against them, others took brute force to get them open! However, all this aside, the room was clean, very reasonably priced and for me in a great location. Only 10 minutes from London Bridge station, yet far enough out that you really experienced the 'community', in an area bursting with character. The apartment had all the equipment certainly that we needed during our stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything taken into account, I would definitely stay here again.

"Think Bermondsey apartments were truly 'home away from home'"

We stayed in an apartment big enough for all of us and enjoyed our stay in every respect. We needed a clean apartment for a few nights to stay with our baby and wanted something conventiently located, very clean, and very easy to get to and from. Think Bermondsey was the perfect choice for us, our small apartment was a home away from home and we have recommended it to friends and family and will continue to do so. Check in was smooth and faultless, our taxi drove into Bermondsey street and then to the left there is a small driveway so that the car could stop right in front of the entrance. Great stuff, as we didnt want to carry baby, luggage and so on even if for a few metres. Our apartment was immaculately clean, fresh, and very spacious. LCD tv and free wifi (ask for code at reception) and tasteful decoration throughout. The sofa was comfy and the bathroom with the walk in shower was pleasant. The wifi connection inside the apartment was sufficient, and the power of the shower very good. The apartments are only about 4' walk to a Sainsbury's local at Bermondsey square, for stocking up on essentials to cook if needed, and 1-2 minutes walk to Bermondsey street with its abundance of restaurants, cafes and entertainment. It's also within walking distance (12'-15' walk) to London Bridge and Guys hospital, making it a perfect location really to explore London. We saw many young backpackers and young professionals checking in, when we went in or out of the reception area, but apart from we felt like we were almost at home as it was quiet, both inside our apartment and in the corridor. We look forward to another stay.

My mom and I stayed here May 4-9th, in an open plan twin room. The location was in an area that feels community based, which was nice because it didn't always feel like you were in the super bustling city of London, even at night it was quiet. Our room was overlooking local apartments (facing the back I think?), and a few parking spaces so it was peaceful and we could keep the sliding door open to cool the room down, since it was quite warm for a couple of the days we were there. The only things we had a bit of trouble with at first were the light switches, the 4 switch one by the door, you need to hold the switches down to turn them off or you can adjust the brightness that way too. As another reviewer said, the bathroom lights are motion activated, which can present that flash of light in the middle of the night if someone goes in, and if you are in the shower you end up showering in the dark-but since one of our twin beds was right next to the bathroom the side table lamp would give enough light, but meant showering in very low light. There was a small dishwasher, toaster, two burner cooktop, washing machine, ironing board w iron, coffee/tea maker (we didn't use), all dishes and silverware you will need. There is also a Sainsburys (grocery) just around the corner, which was great and they have an ATM on the outside of the store on the road side (just walk through and out the other doors to the left). You also have free WiFi in the room, they will give you a password, which was great. All in all I would totally stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

Quite a good price, for London. Good, quiet location although it's a 15 minute walk to London Bridge Tube station. There's plenty of cafe's and pubs nearby and the area felt safe. The room was too hot as other have said, but leaving the window open did the trick and being on the 4th floor at the back of the building this was a quiet solution. Everything in the apartment worked. The 10am checkout time is too early but an extra £50 to check out at midday is an overpriced and expected commercial tactic. The only problem is that the lights in the room took a while to figure out how to use. The bathroom lights are automatic, and with the frosted glass bathroom door about 50cm from the bed, you're likely to wake up your partner if you need to go for a pee in the night. The automatic feature also means they turned themselves off every few minutes when in the shower. I had to slide open the shower door and frantically wave my arm about to get out of darkness. Really quite bizarre and not exactly safe. Minor gripes aside, it was comfortable, quiet stay that didn't break the bank and we'd probably consider it again.
