I will probably echo most of the negative views already against this hotel, so I won't labour the point too much. However, it has to be noted that this is a pretty awful hotel and my husband and I had an unpleasant experience from start to finish and definitly not what we would have expect from a 5 star hotel. First impression of the reception areas was of a very grand, oppulent hotel, but on closer inspection the decor was tired and dirty. Check in was ok, but we were told that we would need to wait 30 mins for our luggage to be taken to our room. Please don't get me wrong, I am happy to carry my own luggage which we did, but we were paying for a 5* service. On our way to our deluxe room, my olfactory senses were abused by a terrible aroma which permiated all through the public areas for the duration of our stay. The room was very very small, even for Rome standards, Included in our deal - was free mini bar and breakfast. The minibar had 3 bottles of water and a tonic for us to choose from, it was not replensished on a daily basis, in fact the glasses weren't even cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast was ok, cakes and coffee, although there was an al a carte menu, which seemed pretty reasonable. Reception staff were unhelpful and one in particular was down right rude. However, I will end the review on a positive note and that is the hotel location, shopping galore and a short walk from many of the must see sights. Close

What a dissapointment! I thought I was heading for luxury and comfort at a 5 star and ended up feeling like we were in a 3 star hotel. the lobby was dreary, marble and signs were not cleaned, the staff was cool and unfriendly, no meat or fruit at breakfast, no robes even when asked twice, no tissues, no floor clothes laid beside bed (typical in Italy and at the other 4 hotels (all 4 star) we stayed at), no turn down service, no magnifying mirror, no replenishment of toiletries (and the ones they had smelled old) dreary, dreary, need I say more? Oh, and wobbly brass bed frame with taped legs? Close

I stayed there for 4 nights. Everything looks old and tired. One of the girl at the reception was quite rude too. They have lots of different type of rooms. Our room was kinda noisyt oo in the morning. We could hear the sound of people walking on the room above ours. In the morning, there were lots of sounds from outside too. The size of the room was okay. Quite clean too. The bed was okay. The location of the hotel is the best. It s literally next to all the shopping areas. Very close to spanish steps, piazza novona, trevi fountain, etc...And the price of the hotel is very reasonable compared to other hotels. Would i stay here again? Maybe, if other hotels are either full or asking for ridiculous price. The only thing i like about this hotel is the location. Close
