My husband had booked this hotel without reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. There was no going back now, so we were not looking forward to the visit to the hotel in anyway, however having this in mind, I think that the hotel was very dated in it's decor, no hairdryer in the room as stated, no mini bar, in fact nothing really, just 2 cheap shower gels and 1 Molton Brown body lotion, just enough for 1 person. We were charged £145.00 not including breakfast. There was a very noisy air conditioning system, that sounded like there was heavy rain all night long, bizzar. I would not reccomend this hotel at all, really dissapointing. Close

My wife booked this hotel before I had looked at Tripadvisor...when I loked at Tripadvisor I thought we had made a big mistake. Having managed my expectations, it wasn't as bad as I feared. Good location, parking in the adjacent Hilton Park Lane and a very short walk from Pirata which serves great Spanish food. The exterior looks great and the reception attractive - and we were upgraded to a suite by a friendly receptionist which all added to positive first impressions but... the whole place seemed tired. The most frustrating thing was that with only a small amount of work the hotel would be quite good. But the bedspread looked dirty, the blind was secured with brown parcel tape and wouldn't close, the side of the bath was rotting away, the mini bar had nothing in it, there wasn't even a plastic laundry bag...our room was a decent size but not for a suite, particularly with such a low ceiling. But breakfast was a joke...lukewarm at best. Waiter seemed attentive but when we examined our fried eggs they were stone cold and rubbery...the replacements were stone cold...the replacements of the replacements were fine. The hotel really needs a lick of paint and lots of TLC before it can justify the price charged. So near, yet so far... Close

I have stayed in many hotels and this stands out as the worst. No heating, electric shock off a broken plug on a heater, rude staff. This is a complete cowboy operation where they over work the staff so there miserable and don't invest in the hotel. The managment/owners are making the world a worse place for many people. Close

Location is very good, Breakfast area very limited, you may have to wait to get a seat in the morning between 08-09:00hrs. Rooms very small. Prices very reasonable compared to other London... more

The worst hotel that ever stayed in my life. It is 1 star and definetely far off from 4 star. Terrible condition of furniture, cold rooms with the heating system out of order, rude receptionist, satelite TV with only arabic channels, smelly, dirty carpets. Wallpaper peeling off all four walls, bathroom really tatty and shower useless. Location is good but stay in another hotel in this area. Definetely you will regret it. Close
