Have stayed at hundreds of hotels, some of the so called best, and I am critical and demanding, but for the last 3 stays, over 3 years, I have found the service and facilities better than any other hotel I have stayed at. Anywhere in the world. The housekeepiung is absolutely faultless, the restarant service great and elsewhere, very good. Close

Opened in last two years and great for relaxing away from it all after a busy day at the office. On the wrong side of twon but conveniently located close to one of the main bridges that goes towards DIFC. Also less than 15 minutes from airport. Only draw back is that nightlife is dead but they do a mean Friday brunch. Close

I had read the reviews before I went and was looking forward to a relaxed break, confident that the hotel, facilities and location would meet my wife's high expectations and I actually got it right!! (as did Trip Advisor) The Thai restuarant was authentic and the staff incredibly helpful - especially with some members of our party who hadn't eaten Thai previously. The Brunch of Friday was an experience in itself. Having stayed in Dubai before I am aware much is made of the Brunch on a Friday but the choices, quality and attention to detail was incredulous. (oh - and the quantity!!) Worth every Dirham! But most outstanding was the services of the Guest Services Manager 'Mr Andrew'. Although we were not one of the most wealthiest of guests he showed us the same attention to detail that I saw him bestow on other (more important?) guests. His cheerfulness, helpfulness and initiative shown to us has made me realise how important his role is and how much more you can get from a holiday if you ask people who work there !! I tried to interest my wife in a seaplane trip - but only he had the charm to persuade her to try it - and that trip was the highlight of both trips to Dubai!!! Not sure if we'll be going back to Dubai - but certainly would look to using the Hyatt hotels again. Close

Having recently stayed at Park Hyatt in Paris (my only previous experience with Park Hyatt hotel), the Dubai property has the same excellent attentive and warm service. Howver, the rooms at the Park Hyatt Dubai need extensive renovation - stained carpets and furniture (room and bathroom), old curtains, Also, the smell in the room is not the typical smell you find in the entire Park Hyatt in Paris. Oher drawbacks: there is no wireless internet in the rooms or restaurants, old towels and bathrobes (2006), rooms may have marina view but mostly obstructed by large palm trees which are full of dust, so not a pleasant stay in the balcony especially afternoon. The Dubai Park Hyatt excells with its Amara SPA and beautiful gardens and pool as well as its excellent Thai restaurant Close

I stayed here three nights in August 2009. The hotel is one of the nicest I have stayed at in Dubai. Surrounded by large areas of flora and palm trees one feels like staying at an oasis and the whole complex is not one of the soulless beton cubes but build according to Arabic styles. Or room, although small, had a nice view at the marina and was very clean and cosy. The bathroom was large and with every comfort. The service was ? as expected ? excellent. Very well trained and highly professional staff. Breakfast was also excellent. A great rage of all kinds of food, more than one can desire. Unfortunately here staff was quite slow ? it took up to 15 minutes to get a coffee and an orange juice and sometimes we got things we have not ordered. Most wonderful was the pool surrounded by palm trees. In the middle of Dubai and the desert, especially at night it was like being in a wonderful oasis. There were torches and soft music ? so relaxing! I can highly recommend the hotel and definitely will return. One thing I have to criticise is the overall temperature at the hotel. Although it is well known that Dubai people are aircon lovers, these temperatures beat everything I ever expected and experienced. Outside we had about 46 C and inside about 16 ? the latter simply does not work for the average European. I was freezing like crazy and during breakfast I had to wear a sweater plus a jacket (and still freezing). Close
