"nice hotel"

clean room with comfortable bed. bathroom was clean but rather small - just about ok for one not too large person. did not try the restaurant as I don't particularly like oriental food, and there did not seem to be anything else on the menu - but that might have been coincidence. breakfast is good though. nice staff.

Rooms cramped and tired. Basin didn't drain. Public areas stink of toilet cleaner. Needs a refit. Staff are friendly if largely ineffective. Even wifi is rubbish but at least it is free. Breakfast is ok and was included in room rate.

The Ramada was very easy to find and has plenty of car parking. Arrived in reception to a lovely friendly welcome, booked in easily, room was pleasant as you would expect, the room was very clean and a bonus of no stray hair in the bathroom. We both had a great nights sleep and would definately book a Ramada again.

"Okay for one night only"

I had to attend a business meeting in Oldbury and my company booked me into the Ramada. I always read the reviews relating to a hotel before I book or stay and after reading some of the review I had some trepidations to say the least. On a whole the hotel was okay, not the best I've stayed in but okay for one night. Room was clean and tidy(clean sheets) but looked a bit tired and due for a refit, bathroom was the same. On arrival I was running late so threw my bag in room and went to meet colleagues. On my return at about ten thirty the room was freezing and I then realised the heating wasn't working and there was a small oil heater placed in the room. There had been no mention of this when booking in. As it was late and didnt fancy going through the agro of changing rooms I put up with it. Breakfast was okay but a bit tasteless Clean and tidy but for a Ramada Hotel not the best

ive stayed in many hotels but for a ramada hotel chain this hotel is shameful .me and my wife arrived at this hotel expecting a lovely hotel for our wedding anniversary we was greeted with dirty towels on the floor from previous guests, cups which wasnt the cleanest with no spoon ,the odd teabag and sprinklings of sugar off an opened packet of sugar on a dirty tray.no soap or shampoo just an empty bottle in the shower, toilet dirty.the room just didnt look like it hadnt been cleaned.the good thing asda was only over the road went and got two cups and a blanket has the room was freezing.this is the first ramada hotel that has been disgraceful ,ive stayed in many ramada hotels which are excellant.we went for breakfast and noticed the chef the previous day had been cleaning rooms.WE DID COMPLAIN TO THE RECEPTIONIST TO GET A SHRUG OF THE SHOULDERS AND A SORRY .THATS NOT AN ANSWER I WANTED.WE HAVE WROTE A LETTER OF COMPLAINT TO RAMADA HEAD OFFICE ABOUT THIS AND OTHER THINGS AWAITING A REPLY.
