"Good hotel"

Having recently stayed at this hotel I can say that overall the quality was very good and would return if we went back to Rome. The negatives are that it is not anyway near the metro and although the breakfast is advertised as an American buffet breakfast it is not, however the breakfast is very good.

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the Room,Service,Breakfast and one of the best double Pools- (indoor and outdoor) swimming and Spa's I've ever seen in a. Hotel in Europe! The location is awesome next to the beautiful Borghese Park/Museum that you walk thru every day - 5 minutes to Via Venetto street. For $225 Euros per night it is a fantastic hotel that is worth the expense if you want to stay in Luxury and workout in the phenomenal underground pool / spa with lap swimming, multiple jacuzzi - pools to really relax after a long day of seeing the sights and shopping in Rome!

We stayed at the Parco dei Principi after our cruise on Crystal Cruise. The hotel as magnificent, well appointed and great service. The room was spacious and had the old world charm with all of the modern amenities. The restuarant was very nice, great food and great service. They also have a very nice bar with a nice wine selection. In addition to be a great hotel it was perfectly located to see everything in Rome. We walked to a few areas and we took a taxi to the Vatican and the via Veneto. We could not ask for a better location or hotel.

Despite a rather overly stuffy and "faux" classical decor, it does disguise the fact that the hotel was built in the 1960s. It makes it cosy and pleasant. The staff are excellent, and with the nice pool, a great sanctuary from the hubbub of the city just across the park.

This is one beautiful hotel and we will definitely be staying here again. While it is situated out of the centre of Rome, it is worth the 7 Euro taxi fares for the peace and quiet and sumptuous elegance this hotel offers. It truly is an oasis after the madness of central Rome. We stayed here 3 nights Pros • Check in was quick and easy. • The décor of the hotel is sumptuous and absolutely beautiful • There are roman ruins in the gardens • Grounds are beautifully kept with a really lovely pool and outdoor area. • Staff were friendly and helpful and always professional • We had a standard room, which was just lovely and sumptuous. Really comfortable and lots of room to move around. • The room walls were padded, so you couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms - BLISS • Breakfast was delicious with a vast range and really fresh • The bed was comfortable with divine pure linen sheets. • The bathroom toiletries provided were gorgeous. Cons • Guests have to pay for internet and the rates are not reasonable. Internet is not luxury but a necessity in this day and age! • Only basic TV is provided for English speakers – BCC and CNN. You have to pay for movies or any decent television. Again, cable TV is not a luxury and should be provided free to guests.
