"Great Hotel in excellent location."

Stayed 2 nights recently and can honestly say ignore the bad reviews. The location is great right next door to train station and weatherspoons pub with reasonable drink prices. Hotel is spotless clean. Yes some carpets are a bit stained but they are a light cream colour!! Could not fault our room and staff were pleasant and helpful. For the price we paid for this city centre hotel i would rate it as excellent value for money.

"In need of upgrade"

Stayed here with my husband for one night. The location the hotel is second to none. On first impressions the hotel was nice enough. The room was adequate and in need of decoration, particularly the bathroom area which needed a good scrub and the paintwork fixed. The bed was clean, however the bedroom needed dusting and the windows needed a good clean. We came back afterwards a spend a few hours in the Georgics bar and the staff were friendly and efficient. Has the potential to be one of the best hotels in Glasgow due to its location, however I would say this hotel is more 3* standard. It needs some updating and with so many hotels in Glasgow...I would not stay here again.

"Good place to stay in Glasgow"

I was on business in Glasgow this week and spent a night in the Millennium Hotel. I found the staff helpful and pleasant. I was a little disappointed to be allocated a rear facing room which had a view of the back of Queen Street station and was consequently quite dark. However the room was spacious, clean, and very nice indeed. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The bath room was beautifully clean and had really nice towels and bathroom accessories. The breakfast was nice with lots of options, ask for a table in the window overlooking George Square and watch the world go by. I would certainly stay in this hotel again.

Decided to have a city break and booked this hotel because of location. We had never stayed in a Millennium hotel before. We were delighted with our room, 306 which was on a corner with two windows and overlooked George Square. The facilities were very good with plenty of hot water and a fully working remote control! It needs a revamp - decor/curtains but we still found it extreemley homely and welcoming. The standard of the breakfast was very high with lots of choice including specials which were cooked to order. There was a pleasant ambience throughout and all the staff were friendly and efficient. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to any of our friends/family.

A very central hotel, the front facing rooms look over George Square, and the rear over the station so you may have some disturbance with train announcements. Beds very comfy, room was good and nice and clean. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice and nice fresh ingredients used. The location is perfect for shopping or taking trips such as the tourist bus or day trips, and being central is great. The staff are very welcoming and efficient.
