"Excellent Holiday"

Just spent the last week at the hotel and must say what a fantastic week we had!! Rooms were very clean ......lovely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom....very good aircon system Restaurant was excellent we stayed on Half Board which was excellent.....lots of choice on every meal we had.....one good thing is we had breakfast....but your other meal could be either lunch or evening meal this is the first time we have found this and it was an excellent option to be included.....staff in the restaurant very friendly and helpfull and nothing was too much trouble The pool - this is the best part of this hotel.....what a lovely time we had.....we did spend most days at the pool area the staff in that area were excellent very friendly with a great sense of humour...infairness they could not to enough for us and it was very much appreciated....we ate at the pool bar most days....the food was excellent as were the cocktails.....lots of umbrellas available too much was definately needed with the May heat....there is work going on to extend the pool area down near the beach.....but you dont hear any noise at all...the only downside for us is that is wasn't finished as looking at the designs it will be amazing when it is finished The hotel is not far from the Emirates Palace which we did go too to take some pictures....also not too far from the Marina Mall which had some excellent shopping....taxis were mega cheap so we did lots of visits to the malls in the evenings If your thinking of going...do it....we would definately go back and are hoping the prices do not go up too much when the renovations are completed

This is one of the older hotels in Abu Dhabi but has been renovated and is very comfortable and well appointed. The room comfortable and the restaurant a highlight. The pool looked good (although I did not use it) and seemed popular. The conference attended was very well supported with excellent facilities provided. The location however was not the best. A distance from anywhere really interesting. Ok for a conference or meeting but perhaps not for a holiday.

We have stayed at the Intercontinental for a number of times and we always really enjoy our time there. The hotel is in a great position and is constantly improving its facilities for guests. The staff are to be commended, they possess genuine warmth and charm and will go 'the extra mile' to ensure their guests have a memorable visit. A big thank you to the all the concierge team for all their help. For those of us on a tighter budget and poor exchange rate the half board arrangement was great! Enjoyed a lovely meal in the fish restaurant and evening drinks overlooking the marina. We look forward to returning and seeing the new beach area and Lebanese restaurant.

We wanted a place to chill out for a few days, we found the right place. Every single employee at the hotel and surrounding restaurants were so friendly and helpful. We could not fault the buffet breakfast and Selections evening meals,great variety and flavour to the food. Especially enjoyed the Belgian Cafe for its ambience,choice of beers,lovely mussels and of course the friendly service. Like to end by saying that the pool bar was always busy and the staff did their very best with a big smile on their faces. Thank you.

We have stayed many times in this hotel already and it seems to be improving all the time! The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are cosily decorated, the views are great whether you are on the front side or the backside, breakfast is super... It is always a nice experience to stay in this hotel and we are planning more visits for sure! And the AC is quiet, which is an absolute advantage!!
