"Very small room"

The hotel had a good location but the room was very small .we had to put the aircon unit on because it was very warm in the hotel but it did not work so we had to use a free standing fan as the the room got very stuffy.

As what i had summarized from the title.. Hotel staff were helpful & pleasant when we step into the hotel. We booked a Deluxe Double Room & the room was surprisingly small. We have 4 luggages (2 big, 2 small) & having to bring them into the room is extremely challenging. Basically you don't have much space to move around in the room. Location wise is good, about 5-10mins walk to Lancaster Gate Station. The hotel is located in residential area where it is quiet at night, and you can have a good night sleep at night. One last thing, we got the hotel staff to arrange taxi for us to the airport (private type not the common black cab). We only found out there are additional charges for luggage (1 piece per person) & we have to pay extra 10 pounds for additional 2 luggages. And we were informed by the private taxi driver but not the hotel staff who made the arrangement for us. We definitely do not appreciate this kind of "shock", while the amount is not big but it gave us the feeling we got cheated somehow.

I have never stayed in such a nice Hotel as the Hyde Park Premier. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was spotless. The quality of our club room was to the highest standard. Every member of staff was kind and considerate to every need and went out of their way to hold doors and provide us with great customer service. Best shower ever. The location is lovely, in a quiet road very close to Lancaster Gate tube and Hyde Park. I chose this Hotel because of the review's and i cannot fault it one bit. 10/10 Thanks would love to stay again. Stuart B

"Small, Mouldy and Ants running around!"

I booked 3 nights and wish I hadn't. I was given a 'Club Room'. Incredibly small room and minute bathroom with that slight odour of mould from the tell tale spotted grouting between the tiles. There were no hand towels for the first day but they were installed after that. The room looked out an an internal court type area at the rear on the ground floor and the sill inside had a constant stream of ants walking from one side to the other. All else was OK but certainly wouldn't stay there again. Staff were quite pleasant.

We recently spent a weekend at Hyde Park Premier. The hotel is conveniently placed within walking distance of Paddington, tube stations, restaurants, shops, pubs and Hyde Park. Although close to all amenities the Hotel is situated in a very quiet residential street. The rooms were very clean and well provided and although not large they were perfect for our stay. All the staff were excellent - very helpful, polite and attentive. The breakfast was also excellent quality with plenty of choice and excellent service. It is the best hotel experience we have had in London and we would definitely stay there again.
