"Excellent Italian style in the capital"

My partner and I had only had a drink in the bar before so we were looking forward to our first stay at the missoni hotel. I can say we were not disappointed. The room was great with an extremely comfy bed. A walk in power shower is always a good thing too! Nice to see a nespresso machine in the room and a complimentary mini bad. Only two negatives were the cooked breakfast was disappointing. It didn't taste like it was freshly cooked to order. The buffet selection was excellent though. The 2nd negative was no parking discount for any local car parks. Overall you should definitely stay at the Missoni if your looking for something a little more interesting than tartan and bagpipes! You only have to walk out the front door for plenty of that on the Royal Mile!

Overall it was a very pleasant stay, beautiful decor, would definitely stay there again. I wasn't too impressed with the service though as the patrons and myself seemed to misunderstand each other quite easily, nothing that would put me off staying there again.

The hotel lives up to the image given on websites that you have no doubt checked out. Very stylish public spaces, excellent location for Edinburgh sights and nightlife. Hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always seeking to make things better for us. We were in one of the basic rooms, which was good, comfortable and designed as you'd expect from Missoni. There is no separate bath, just a large shower. Wifi in all rooms included and quite fast. The breakfast was an excellent buffet, with lots of healthy options, as well as the usual bacon and eggs. It is hard to fault this hotel, but as a minor point perhaps worth mentioning that the gym is very small. I've seen better in people's homes, honestly. A couple of machines and some free weights - no wonder they don't show pictures of it on the website! I knew about the trip well in advance so booked the pre-pay option at about £160 per night. That was decent value overall. However, had I paid the list price (c.£250ish) per room, I don't think I would have felt quite as good about it.

We had a meeting for 20, drinks reception and lunch for 40+ for a professional membership body I am a member of. I had the task of arranging the event and from my initial enquiry to the day of the event the service from Alison and Leiticia in the event team was fantastic. The day of the event went smoothly with Daisy and Gillian and their team of classy, discreet and professional staff making the experience relaxed, seamless and overall enjoyable by all our guests. The food was simple, authentic, tasty and looked great...loved the 'family' sharing style of service. thank you

Stylish and trendy hotel with good location for royal mile. Great room if not a little on the small size (would be crampef with 2 people with big suitcases) and super shower & bathroom. Also enjoyed food at the restaurant although perhaps a bit overprices. Got this on secret deal and had a good stay.
