"Been there..and never going back"

Well the rooms are nice, food is good if you like the cafeteria style buffet everyday! We did not choose this place, it was chosen for us. Omg...nasty!! Big huge animals and things sticking out everywhere! I guess if you have kids it might be fun..it is like vegas and disneyland put together but they left out the fancy classy bits! Besides the fact we had 5 days of wind, rain and cold weather..it did nothing to make our opinion of the place any better. We saw the video and got excited..but the resort, shops were closed! The irish pub staff were great...but they didnt have guinness beer the first night, second night they did but then ran out of beer completely!! Now the 5* hotel spa!! We thought to treat ourselves, firstly we had to pay for three hours..34 euros and no towel or robes..they cost 8 euros more. We are told not to worry because they have sun beds with heat lights to dry your bodies. Looks nice but we froze..a spa with cold water jacuzzi. We would change jacuzzi just to get cold, then the water would feel warmer. A spa that we froze in 28 degrees!! They wouldnt turn up the temperature! The heat beds...another joke, cold breeze circling the area..in fact no one was using it! We resisted 1 1/2 hours...cold and not happy. We go to leave and the thought of a nice hot shower was on our minds..well guess what..cold! Here i lost my patience, not that the spa boys could understand english..but he figured out we wanted hot water..he turned the temp up at least. So eight degrees out side, cold and raining..and the hairdryers were blowing cold air!! Disaster..oh and our cards that we put money on...yes good for everywhere!! They didnt work anywhere except our hotel...

Yet again it was late and we just needed a hotel for one night. Not much to choose from on the AP7 highway after Barcelona. So we saw the signage and having no other choice booked a room. The room was clean and not too bad. The buffet breakfast terrible. I guess in season young families might enjoy this hotel and playgrounds, pools and beach. Looking closely the hotel is shoddily built. Wannabe Disney World in Spain.

To put in a context we were well out of season, in a group, for a two day break at an offer price. Out of season the whole complex was like a morgue except for a few in our hotel, and a couple of local bars. I am sure that in season the place is alive and full of families enjoying all the amenities/parks/beaches for their holidays. The hotel is not 5* except by some judging standard of amenities such as the spa. Our stay was great, the food breakfast, lunch and dinner (buffet style) including beverages was good and plentiful, all staff were friendly and helpful although sometimes sparse. The rooms were large and airy with good size balconies and very clean. All mod cons you would expect from 5*, Wi-Fi was free but not terrific and limited. Having travelled a great deal this is not 5* luxury as suggested and the hotel does lack certain comforts. I think it’s meant for holidays by the sea, rather than just being a luxury hotel. The special spa is typical of a Las Vegas type variation on a true spa existing because of its natural water, but is fun and enjoyable for a couple of hours. I have no trouble in recommending a visit but unsure whether this whole man made holiday town/complex has enough to draw me back for another visit, even at a price. My view may be different if I had young children, and the few Spanish one we saw were enjoying the hotel and well behaved. Our group ensured that we enjoyed the trip and there were no complaints, except the bar prices which drove many into the bars on the street, and which was reviewed for our second night with many enjoying the hotel bar with music on till late. The village nearby, walk or bus route, is Spanish and has cafe life all year.

Estuve con mi familia un par de noches en el puente de Mayo. En realidad, habíamos reservado el de 3 estrellas, pero al no haber suficiente ocupación, nos pasaron a este, de 4 estrellas. Por un precio muy razonable, tuvimos pensión completa, con un buffet de bastante calidad y variedad (solo se echaban de menos los arroces, especialmente estando en el País Valencià) en el que las bebidas estaban incluidas, y una habitación bastante amplia, con una buena terraza. Además, la habitación daba derecho a acceder a un SPA situado cerca, no muy grande pero suficiente. La animación, general para todos los que se alojaban en apartamentos u hoteles, estaba más o menos bien, sobre todo para no ser temporada alta. En cuanto al entorno, Marina D'Or tiene bastantes opciones para la diversión de os niños, un parque precioso (con peces, patos y pavos reales) cerca de la playa y bastantes tiendas, estas de precio bastante elevado en general.

Очень нам нравиться - дети в восторге и мы с женой тоже чувствует себя уютно. В 2011 отдыхали в 4*, а в 12 в пяти. Персонал добро желательный - питание на высоте. Территории и пляж очень удобные - есть всё на все случаи. Номера на пять. Дети опять хотят туда. На такси до станции 5-6 € электричка до Валенсии идёт около часа, до порт авентуры 1,5 часа. Спа комплекс прикольный, но староватый!!!
