  • Cafe Imperial: Since its opening in 1914 Cafe Imperial has been sought after for its hospitality, excellent service and cosmopolitan ambience, always being regarded as one of the most beautiful coffee houses in Prague. "Wonderful experience"

My wife and I spent three nights in Prague in mid-April and arrived jet-lagged at the Imperial Hotel to be warmly welcomed and given a spacious, richly appointed room with marble bath. The concierge team did all we could ask -- dinner reservations, car services, maps, personal recommendations and more. My wife and I had a personal situation come up during our stay and the hotel manager and his assistant were right there to help us navigate the local customs and language seamlessly. They could not have been nicer!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Imperial Hotel for several nights. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well located. Very European with 1 and 1/2 baths in our Executive Room. The restaurant is delicious (make a reservation). Most importantly was the staff. Every person we encountered was professional, courteous and helpful. Thanks to Martin for his help and assistance!

I stayed at the Art Deco for three nights on the 7th - 10th April. My stay started on the wrong foot with the hotel not being able to honour my pre paid booking in their Imperial Suite due to "unavoidable circumstances". Nevertheless, I was downgraded to a Junior suite and in addition to the downgrade refund was given a complimentary dinner voucher to the Imperial Cafe. Once at the hotel, there is little to fault. It is straight out of a Humphrey Bogart film. The staff were very professional and extremely helpful. The hotel Cafe was always busy and with good reason. The decor alone is worth a visit and the food and service was as you would expect very good. The Junior suite was nice and spacious and very liveable. Old style charm and a touch of hospitality of an era bygone. Well worth a visit. Would I stay again ?... I would if I could be sure a pre paid booking will be honoured the next time.

My wife and I had a great few days in Prague, and this hotel made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself is a piece of history and takes you back to another era. Enjoy the high quality rooms, the thoughtful personal service, the beautiful architecture and interior design, not to mention the amazing Café Imperial.

Made the reservation on-line. Asked for a king non-smoking, quiet room. I had corresponded by e-mail with the reservation manage, Jilka, who was very polite and helpful. When we arrived for our 8-night stay, the gracious woman at the desk advised we had a king bed and a quiet room. Our room was very large with a sitting area, two large windows, two toilets on the 4th floor rear of the hotel. Extremely quiet and comfortable. The staff, from the reception desk, concierge, dining room, bar, and drivers, were courteous, professional, gracious and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone. It is conveniently located without being right in the middle of the tourist areas.
