Young Frankenstein | London

Legendary filmmaker and comedian Mel Brooks brings his classic monster musical comedy Young Frankenstein to life on stage in an all-singing, all-dancing musical collaboration with Tony-award winning Broadway director and choreographer Susan Stroman. A fantastic parody of cult horror films, Young Frankenstein begins previews at the Garrick Theatre on September 28th 2017, with a press night on October 10th 2017.

A re-imagining of Mary Shelley’s classic novel, the Young Frankenstein play depicts a creature that cannot be controlled. A New York brain surgeon and professor inherits a Transylvanian castle and laboratory from his genius, but deranged grandfather, Victor Von Frankenstein, and soon realises he has some decisions to make. The young Frankenstein must decide whether to escape from his grandfather’s madness or to continue his crazy experiments.
