Rad Blu

Last weekend our customers had just flown into Manchester after competing in an Ironman challenge in Sweden. After training hard for a year to complete the gruelling course imagine their delight when exhausted and happy they realised they would be toasting their success from a suite overlooking Manchester.

As our random upgrade winner said: “This has set a new standard for booking celebrations in the future!.

She added: “It really rounded off our weekend. We had been hoping we’d be in a fit state to enjoy the celebration and we were! The cocktails and chocolates on arrival were a nice treat. Kicking back in the lounge in the morning looking out over the cityscape of Manchester with the papers was a rare treat.”

Getting there: Free Trade Hall, Peter Street, Manchester, M2 5GP
Neighbourhood inspiration:

Although the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester Hotel actually makes it a pretty hard decision to leave the confines of the hotel (they have a pool, spa, Steak & Lobster restaurant and stunning bars to keep you entertained), if you venture out you are bang in the centre of vibrant Manchester.

So most people could name both football teams (City and United) and the list of top bands to come out of Manchester is staggering (The Stone Roses, The Smiths, New Order, Oasis are but a few), but it also has a cool arts scene (it is the home of LS Lowry) and fantastic shopping. You can even go and visit Coronation Street!

Once an industrial powerhouse in the north of England; Manchester has evolved over the years to become a real destination centre. Check out visitmanchester for some of the best things to do in Manchester.
