With schools across the nation closing for nigh on two months, there are loads of resources online to check out for parents who are looking to entertain their little ones.
Whether it’s a holiday or a review of a museum, sometimes it’s well worth taking time to check these things out online before heading to the big smoke or grabbing the credit card.
Manchester for kids
I really had to include this Manchester blog – Manchizzle – it’s put the city on a plate and it’s very stylish. Have a look at the blogroll which is a rundown of local blogs, many of which have art and cultural events at their heart.
Creative Tourist, a newly launched blog by the Manchester Arts Consortium, also has City Guides to download.
The Urban Playground is the kids guide and it categorically states no face paints or primary colours allowed – I like it already!
You can check out Ice Climbing and Man U tours at lastminute.com/manchester and we have loads more deals this Summer.
London for kids
A great resource for is London for Kids which details attractions and events and has some great submissions from people who have been there themselves.
Your Travel Planner has also put together a great round up of what to do in London this Summer with the kids in tow.
It’s always worth checking out our London hotel offers so you can stay in the capital in complete and utter comfort. Just think, no laundry, no cooking and room service with London on the door step.
Birmingham for kids
There’s lots to do in Birmingham and the Birmingham newsroom blog has done a great round up and guarantees a Summer of fun.
You can also check out lastminute.com/birmingham for our great deals at Cadbury World (don’t forget to to the chocolate making there), Sealife Centres and Drayton Manor.
Have a great time this Summer!
