Upon arriving in Edinburgh Pope Benedict XVI will be received by The Queen at the Palace of Holyrood House, Edinburgh, before travelling to Glasgow, London and Birmingham.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay nearby try the four star Malmaison Edinburgh, located a short seven minutes’ drive away from the Palace of Holyrood House. Double rooms are available on Thursday 16th September. Prices start from £115 and are based on two adults sharing.

After meeting with the Queen, Pope Benedict XVI will make his way to Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, to celebrate an open-air public mass, before heading to London.
