The Jurys Inn Chelsea can also be found near the fashionable Kings Road, but it also has the benefit of being close to the Thames. If you are a little less rah and a bit more roar, this hotel is within easy reach of both Chelsea and Fulham Football Club’s stadiums.

First up is Foxtrot Oscar, the cheekily titled name of one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants. This local bistro is based in the heart of Chelsea, and rather than worrying about having to be dressed head-to-toe in designer clobber, the ambiance is friendly and relaxed. Serving hearty classic fare, with quality British ingredients, this is the perfect place to start your Chelsea adventure and has a special two-course deal of £18 at the moment.

The Bluebird Restaurant is a fabulous addition to the King’s Road scene. You can take your pick of lunch, afternoon tea or dinner and there is a £20 for two courses deal on at the moment. It’s modern, yet intimate, cosy yet filled with light – it really is a wonderful place to see and be seen in. The bar also has a nice sexy vibe of its own, so worth popping in for a drink!



Last but by no means least, The Rib Room, is elegance personified. Currently offering an amazing three courses for £25, if you are feeling really flush you can also enjoy the private dining experience. Head Chef Ian Rudge’s world-renowned roast rib of beef has to be eaten to be believed, while head sommelier Louise Gordon has created a list of over 450 wines and champagnes, presented to guests on an interactive iPad list, which will take all the worry away from ordering the right bottle of wine!
